NEED IMAGES FOR YOUR WEBSITE?

Raincoast Business Services (http://services.raincoast.com) contains web quality, JPEG cover images for most Raincoast published and distributed titles.

HOW TO LOCATE IMAGES:
Go to the Raincoast Business Services website.

Search by title, author or isbn using Quick Search, which is found in the top right-hand corner.
Or Advance Search by season, publisher or subject category using the Search link in the menu bar.

Click on the title link to view the detail page containing cover image, book description, author biography and bibliographic data (page count, trim size, release date, price, binding, etc.)

TO DOWNLOAD THE IMAGE FROM THE DETAIL PAGE:
Mac Users: Click and hold your mouse button on the link to the JPEG file until the pull-down menu appears. Then choose DOWNLOAD IMAGE TO DISK to download the image to your computer.

Windows Users: Right click on the link to the JPEG file and choose COPY TO FOLDER to save the image to your computer.

COVER SCAN SPECIFICATIONS:

Image Size: Each scan is approximately 200 pixels high (approx. 2 to 3 inches at 72 ppi)
Colour Space: RGB
Image Format: These images are saved as JPEGs, with a black border around the image
Image Resolution: 72 pixels per inch.

CONDITIONS:
Images are provided on the condition that you do not re-distribute the images, alter or distort the content or relative dimensions of the images, or use them for any purpose that may be deemed inappropriate.

Image Size: How large of an image do you need?
Colour Space: Do you need CMYK, RGB, B&W?
Image Format: JPEG or TIFF?
Image Resolution: Number of pixels per inch?
