Excerpt from All the Way to Mexico
“Jacob Armstrong was twelve years old and he was on a honeymoon. The honeymoon was his mother’s.
Also on the honeymoon was his mother’s new husband, Fred Finkle.
They’d been married just the day before.
To make matters crazier, Jacob’s fifteen-year-old sister Minerva was on the honeymoon as well. And so were Fred Finkle’s two kids, Barney Finkle, who was ten, and Sam Finkle, eight. They were all packed together in a car.”
