May 5: The 77-Day Countdown begins.

May 12: 70 days to book 7: Release of Ipsos-Reid Harry Potter Poll.

June 26: The 10th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Watch for a full-page advertisement in the Globe and Mail on the weekend.

July 1: National magazine coverage (news stories and book giveaways), and book giveaways begin at 50 radio stations and 15 television stations across Canada.

July 14: 7 days to book 7.

July 21: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is released at one minute past midnight local time.
